Director of Real Estate Research
 

This candidate will act as a real estate expert within the private markets research team with a primary responsibility for overseeing the Real Estate research activities of the firm.  This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with clients, consultants, and the investment community.  

Specific Responsibilities:  Perform due diligence on private partnership investments with a primary focus on real estate, prepare analyses on partnerships and present new investments to the firm’s Internal Investment Committee, assist in the management of a series of private markets funds of funds developed for clients’ use, interface with clients and consultants on the implementation of their portfolios, travel for manager research, client service, and marketing is an essential part of this position. Candidate will be expected to become knowledgeable of other private markets strategies and managers


Education/Experience:  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or Real Estate with outstanding academic credentials, MBA/CFA strongly preferred, minimum of 7 years experience in the real estate research arena, experience with open and closed end investment partnerships
